Panelica Now Officially Supports AlmaLinux 9/10 and Rocky Linux 9/10​

We're happy to confirm that Panelica now officially supports AlmaLinux 9, AlmaLinux 10, Rocky Linux 9, and Rocky Linux 10. Same single binary, same one-line install, same unified update channel — now across the RHEL family.

About These Distributions​

AlmaLinux and Rocky Linux are RHEL-compatible enterprise distributions that filled the gap left when CentOS Linux reached end of life. AlmaLinux 9 is supported through 2032, AlmaLinux 10 through 2035. Rocky Linux 9 and 10 follow the same RHEL lifecycle. Both are widely deployed on hosting providers, VPS platforms, and on-premises environments — and both are now fully supported by Panelica.

What We Verified​

  • Installation: The same one-line command works identically on the RHEL family.
  • Web server stack: Nginx 1.27+, Apache 2.4 with mod_proxy_fcgi, mod_brotli, and ModSecurity — all confirmed operational.
  • PHP versions: 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, and 8.5 per-user FPM pools, identical to Debian-family behavior.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL 17, MySQL 8, Redis 7 — all under /opt/panelica with isolated sockets.
  • Mail stack: Postfix, Dovecot, OpenDKIM, and per-domain SNI mail SSL verified working.
  • DNS: BIND 9 with rndc control, IPv6 ready.
  • Security: Fail2ban, nftables (firewalld disabled by the installer), ModSecurity with OWASP CRS, ClamAV — all layers active.
  • Isolation: All 5 layers — cgroups v2, namespaces, SSH chroot, PHP-FPM per-user pools, Unix permissions — work identically. SELinux is set to permissive during install, with an enforcing path documented for those who need it.

Getting Started on AlmaLinux or Rocky Linux​

Run the standard installer on a fresh AlmaLinux 9/10 or Rocky Linux 9/10 server:

The installer detects the OS family automatically. Panel is accessible at https://YOUR_SERVER_IP:8443 after about six minutes. Minimum requirements: 2 GB RAM, 20 GB disk, root access.
